Entuitive is proud to be part of the Habitat for Humanity Women Build 2017 initiative being held in Toronto. Fifteen volunteers from the firm’s Toronto office will participate in a day-long build on Friday, September 29th. Together, we hope to raise $15,000.
“Being involved with Habitat for Humanity is such an important cause for Entuitive, not only as a humanitarian response to the crisis of low-income family housing, but also because we are a firm that cares deeply about the social fabric of the communities in which we live, work and play,” said Deanne Hinchcliffe, Project Administrator spearheading this initiative. “As part of the corporate culture we foster in our firm and as integral community members, Entuitive and Habitat for Humanity share the sense of collaboration and ingenuity for solving some of the most basic, but human challenges.”
About Women Build
Every day, women contribute to the social, economic, and cultural well-being of our cities. Habitat for Humanity unique Women Build event celebrates and harnesses the unstoppable power of women to come together to help transform a community.
Since 2009, Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Women Build events have rallied together over 5,000 women to raise more than $4 million and help build 85 homes in the GTA.
Approximately 30% of Habitat for Humanity GTA homeowners are single mothers, so Women Build is a fantastic opportunity for women to build, invest, and advocate for safe and decent housing for the city’s most vulnerable women.
