Technology has helped make many complex tasks easier and faster to do but yet simple human interaction – social communication – continues to be difficult. Today’s business environment rewards those individuals who can successfully combine strong social skills with technical expertise. While it may seem trivial to some, the ability to engage people, whether a new or existing client or colleague in a social setting, is increasingly important in developing one’s career.
