For the New Taylor Institute Innovation is Key
The Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning is nearing completion. Currently under construction on the University of Calgary campus, this 4,000 m2 building is a new, one-of-a-kind institute that will transform student learning by taking the lead in educational innovation and providing some of the most innovative learning spaces available anywhere in North America.

Daily Commercial News recently featured the project describing the interesting applications of steel in the design and construction, particularly the Vierendeel trusses which form a significant architectural and structural element of the project.
