Entuitive’s Cityvision 2014 Industry Event
A capacity audience of invited guests from Toronto’s architecture, engineering and construction community gathered together on April 24th for Entuitive’s 2nd Annual CityVision Industry Event. Special guest speaker, Harold Madi – the new Director of Urban Design for the City of Toronto, made his first speaking appearance in this new role to convey his vision for building creative spaces in the city.
As North America’s 4th largest city and with the highest level of commercial and residential construction activity, Toronto is experiencing unprecedented growth. Demographic and employment statistics show that more people are choosing to live and work in Toronto’s downtown area fuelling a culture shift requiring the City to think about what successful urban communities look like. Harold discussed this shift and the role that public spaces play in building creative and dynamic cities.
“At Entuitive, we aim to take a different approach combining entrepreneurial thinking with a collaborative framework supported by leading-edge technology all driving towards the goal of better building performance,” said Brock Schroeder, Managing Principal at Entuitive. “We are excited to offer the CityVision event to bring together members of our industry to discuss how creativity and collaboration build better cities.”
Now in its fourth year and with 95 employees across the country, Entuitive continues to collaborate with building owners, developers, architects, contractors and others to deliver creative solutions for a better built environment helping to build vibrant and prosperous cities.
