Seneca College King Campus Expansion
We’re excited to be the structural engineering consultant on the team selected, through a competitive procurement process, to design and build the expansion of Seneca College’s King Campus. The project team also includes EllisDon, MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects and Montgomery Sisam Architects.
The $70.9M expansion, the largest revitalization project in the college’s history, will increase teaching and learning capacity from 3,500 to 5,000 full-time students at Seneca’s King Campus. The project, delivered through an Alternative Financing and Procurement model, is expected to be complete by spring of 2018.
The project will target LEED Gold and expand the campus’ facilities by 200,000 square feet with:
- 25 new classrooms, computer labs, specialty labs for training, a library, learning commons and student study space
- A new student area with a multi-purpose athletic and recreation space, gymnasium, fitness centre, informal study areas and event spaces
Entuitive is proud to be a part of enhancing campus life for the growing number of students attending Seneca College.
