With nearly a decade of experience in energy efficiency, green building design, policy research, and project management, Biren Singh brings deep expertise and leadership to his role as Team Lead, Building Performance.
Biren has contributed to numerous high-performance, zero-carbon projects across Canada, including Kindred Works’ residential portfolio and a range of other institutional, commercial, and industrial projects, such as the Winnipeg North Bus Garage Facility and the UTSC Humanities Wing, net zero feasibility study. He has played a key role in new construction, retrofit, and decarbonization projects across the country.
Biren and his team have also worked on Western University’s Bioconvergence Lab, where Entuitive is providing building envelope services, structural engineering, and sustainability consulting. In support of the university’s target of reaching Net Zero by 2050 and achieving building resilience through a robust envelope, the Bioconvergence Lab allows Entuitive to cross-leverage its services for one of the most exciting institutional projects in North America.
Biren’s work was also recently featured in the BBC StoryWorks “Common Good” film series, which spotlighted his leadership in driving retrofit solutions that improve building performance while reducing environmental impact.
As Team Lead, Biren is energized by the direction the group is heading:
“We’re fortunate to be working on exciting, meaningful projects with real impact. We’re a young, driven, and agile team, and we’re excited to push the boundaries of sustainable design. We have a real opportunity as part of the design team to shape the next generation of high-performance buildings and that’s what motivates us.”
We’re excited to see where Biren’s leadership takes the Energy Modelling team, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate and build bonds with our clients on transformative, sustainability-forward projects.
