Entuitive Adds Giulia Alimonti as Vice-President of Building Envelope Services

Last month, Entuitive welcomed Giulia Alimonti, AIA, LEED AP, as Vice-President of Building Envelope Services. Giulia joins Entuitive’s New York City office, bringing her reputable architecture services as a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector for FISP façade inspections and reports, as well as building envelope commissioning (BECx) expertise to the team.

With a career in building consultation services spanning North America and in Europe, Giulia’s experience in the investigation, evaluation, design, and repair of building enclosure systems brings a valuable dynamic to Entuitive and its clients.

“I’m thrilled to be joining this team of established, innovative, and exciting building envelope experts at Entuitive, and to work with our dedicated team here in New York City,”

says Giulia Alimonti, Vice President of Building Envelope Services.

“Something that Entuitive and I have in common is we’ve helped restore and give life to some of the most timeless buildings in New York City—and we’re far from done.”

A few of Giulia’s notable works include façade restoration and historic window repairs to New York City’s ACE Hotel, as well as at the NoMad Hotel, where she managed repairs to the full-floor pivoting windows and iconic copper cupola. Giulia’s award-winning exterior restoration work at the famed Plaza Hotel included construction consultation on reconfiguring units, modernizing all systems, and WEP system installation.

She also routinely consults with clients and engineering colleagues alike for Façade Inspection & Safety Programs (FISP) Projects for landmark and historic buildings, as well as on high rise buildings throughout New York City.

She has also provided FISP services and capital budgets for façade repairs to many high-rise buildings in New York City.

In addition to high-profile restoration projects, Giulia has specialized in the investigation and repair of masonry walls, cladding, curtain walls, fenestrations, roofing, and waterproofing systems. Her work has ranged from pre-purchase assessments to development of capital budgets, forensic investigations, rehabilitation and historic preservation programs, peer review of new construction, and litigation support.

“Joining a company like Entuitive – one putting sustainability at the center of its offering – seems like the perfect combination of experience and opportunity,”

says Alimonti.

“With legislation like Local Law 97 driving more attention around sustainable buildings in New York, my background and familiarity with both existing structures and new buildings will help boost our carbon reduction and retrofit offerings for building owners.”

In joining Entuitive, Giulia will not only support business development efforts in New York City, but she will provide valuable leadership to specialized teams across all our offices as we strengthen our building envelope and enclosure commissioning services across north America.
