Nicholas is an Associate at Entuitive with over 13 years of diverse experience in transportation, municipal, residential and commercial projects. He has experience providing a wide range of structural engineering services, including structural analysis and design, condition assessments, building information modelling and computer-aided drafting (BIM & CAD), project delivery, contract administration and site inspections.
In his role in the Transportation department, Nicholas has worked on projects for Metrolinx/GO Transit, the Toronto Transit Commission, the Toronto Parking Authority, and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. Through this experience, he has gained an understanding of each transit provider’s design standards.
Nicholas served as a Senior Design Engineer, executing the complex structural design of the Eglinton Crosstown Cedarvale Station; a major interchange with the TTC subway. Most recently, Nicholas has been involved in the design of the Yonge North Subway Extension Stations for Metrolinx and new elevator installation projects for the Toronto Parking Authority and the TTC as part of their Easier Access program. He has also worked on dozens of projects at Toronto Pearson’s Terminal 1 including demolition sequencing and crane load reviews.
Nicholas’ Transportation experience includes projects working as a Project Manager for the Prime Consultant, as well as working as a structural engineer in the subconsultant role. Nick contributed to managing subconsultants and writing Output Specifications on the USEP RER-1 project, before he moved on to a design management role on the TTC Downtown Relief Line project, and TTC College Station – Easier Access Modifications.
