Sean Smith is an integral member of the Entuitive leadership team through his role as Principal.
As an active, hands-on Principal, Sean leads Entuitive teams on important projects from design through to construction, and finds great satisfaction in mentoring staff. He also plays major roles in company management, including business development and technical development.
With 20 years of industry experience, Sean is recognized for quality structural engineering of complex projects in Canada and the United States. His diverse portfolio includes award-winning buildings in the sports and recreation, institutional, residential, commercial, hospitality, transportation, healthcare, retail, and entertainment sectors.
Also known for his technical acumen, Sean is a published author of numerous technical papers, and a named patent holder for a damping device with application in tall buildings.
Sean strongly believes that in this industry it is collaboration, above all, that determines a project's ultimate success, and the enjoyment of work. He is keen on building and maintaining positive relationships with industry partners, clients, architects, contractors. and engineering colleagues of all disciplines.
