Entuitive has announced the hire of the newest member of the firm’s Transportation leadership group, Fabiola MacIntyre. Fabiola joins as a Senior Associate and Transportation Lead based in Calgary.
Fabiola comes to Entuitive with over 17 years of industry experience in structural engineering, project management, and leadership in the delivery of large, complex engineering projects. Her addition will bolster the international consulting engineering firm’s ability to deliver on transit-related projects, especially in Western Canada.
“We are thrilled to have Fabiola join our team,”
said Brock Schroeder, Managing Director of Entuitive.
“She is the right leader to advance our overall strategic direction and delivery capabilities in transportation infrastructure and transit-oriented developments in Western Canada. We have many successful transportation projects underway in Toronto and New York, and we’re looking to see similar success for our clients in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.”
Fabiola brings with her an extensive and impressive project and leadership portfolio that includes multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects, such as The City of Calgary’s Green Line LRT, the largest infrastructure project in the City. She has a keen interest in transit-oriented development, city building, and shaping sustainable communities.
Of her work Fabiola says,
“I’m excited to be part of the transportation team at Entuitive as we head into the future of transportation. It will be especially interesting to explore how new technology influences our infrastructure, how we begin to envision communities where transportation plays a stronger role in shaping the built environment, and how, together, our engineering, planning, and development industries can create more integrated, mixed-use communities. The possibilities for our future cities are endless and I’m grateful I get to play a part in that.”
Fabiola has been lauded for her work, having been recognized with an Emerging Leader Award by the Women’s Infrastructure Network in 2018, a One Calgary Award for Leadership by The City of Calgary in 2018, and a top 40 Under 40 Award from Avenue Magazine in 2016.
Fabiola’s hire follows Entuitive’s recent acquisition of Brown & Co. Engineering Ltd., which also bolstered Entuitive’s capacity to deliver bridge and construction engineering work as part of their overall service offering. Entuitive’s team of experts in the field also includes Michael Meschino, Stephen Brown, Mike Hillcoat, Megan Rhind, and Jonathan Werner.
The team has extensive experience in the engineering of multi-billion-dollar projects, including transportation facilities, airport terminals, bridges, pedestrian bridges, overbuild projects, parking structures, and more.
