Aqualuna at Bayside
Aqualuna at Bayside offers commanding views of the downtown skyline and Lake Ontario.
The complex features a unique design of two offset peaks with an undulating profile of spacious terraces and balconies inspired by its waterfront location.
The project involves a number of interesting constraints including combination of community space, residential and commercial space, amenities embedded within 3 storey areas of podium and presence of extensive outdoor podium amenity. The complexity of these occupancies and their different demands is reduced by strategically and creatively placing columns that minimize structural transfers but without compromising the architecture of desired program.
Located on Toronto’s inner harbour, the new East Bayfront Neighbourhood is part of a fully integrated, 13-acre mixed-use neighbourhood reinventing Toronto’s waterfront into a people-friendly enclave of exceptional homes, shops, restaurants, cafes and green spaces. The building features two 16-storey, mid-rise towers that step back and rise above a podium to maximize views of Lake Ontario and the city. The building also includes 240 condominium units and a large 6th floor amenity terrace and pool with spectacular views of Lake Ontario and direct access to an indoor lounge.
