Bonnybrook Lab and Administration Building

The Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in Calgary, serves the eastern quadrant of the city and comprises a large campus of buildings and infrastructure.

The administration and laboratory building is a new building.

It is on the location of an existing building that was demolished in stages to provide updated facilities to operate the plant and provide modern laboratory amenities.

The building incorporates a large decorative screen to provide some privacy, functions as a solar shade, and enhances the aesthetics of the building.

The building consists of a four-storey structure clad with an exposed concrete façade. High-performance glazing systems provide daylight and views to the interior.
