As a Senior Associate, Chongsong manages projects on the transportation team. His wide-ranging expertise includes work for airports, bridges, and urban transit lines. Chongsong has also completed projects for other sectors, including commercial, residential, retail, and institutional.
With over 20 years of experience, Chongsong is recognized as an innovative practitioner who emphasizes structural optimization and efficiency. He is known for his technological strengths, conducting advanced structural analyses, and providing code expertise on projects. He seeks opportunities to integrate leading-edge technologies in his work for Eglinton West (Allen) Station, for example, he led the team in the delivery of a 3D Bentley BIM model, the first ever prepared for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).
Chongsong has worked on a variety of projects in Canada, including several stations for the TTC's Eglinton Crosstown LRT and the Scarborough RT Extension. He has extensive international experience, with projects in the United States, United Kingdom, China, and Israel.
